Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
