He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 Yet you pay attention 5 you attended to him, 6 Though it is not your concern if he should not grow (in fulness). 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 you ignore him. 10 Indeed, this [Quran] is an admonition. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble, pious. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 Then doth He make His path smooth for him; 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 Nay, but man did not fulfil what Allah had enjoined upon him. 23 Let Man consider his nourishment. 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 And caused to grow within it grain 27 And grapes and clover, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 These will be the unbelievers, the wicked. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
