The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
