The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
