The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the books are spread, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 The rising dawn, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 where then are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
