The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Where then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
