Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
