Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
