Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
