Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
