He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 To him dost thou attend; 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 As for him who comes to you striving, 8 and fears (Allah), 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 most exalted and purified, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what thing doth He create him? 18 Out of a sperm-drop did He create him and then determined a measure for him, 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 We poured water, pouring it in great abundance, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and herbage 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 all this as a provision for you and your cattle. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 and be cheerful and joyous. 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 and covered by darkness. 41 Those! they are the infidels, the ungodly. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
