Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
