The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Woe to Al-Mutaffifin [those who give less in measure and weight (decrease the rights of others)], 1 when they measure against the people, take full measure 2 But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 For a mighty day, 5 The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 No indeed; the Book of the libertines is in Sijjin; 7 Would that you knew what Sijin is!? 8 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record. 9 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies, 10 who belied the Day of Recompense! 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old. 13 Nay, but their hearts are corroded by all [the evil] that they were wont to do! 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 Then, verily they will indeed enter and taste the burning flame of Hell. 16 and they will be told, "This is what you were wont to belie." 17 Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin - 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 A book inscribed, 20 To which bear witness those nearest (to Allah, i.e. the angels). 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 seated on couches and gazing around in wonder. 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 as they are given to drink of a wine sealed 25 its seal will be of musk -- for this let the aspirants aspire -- 26 And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim, 27 A fountain whereof will drink those brought nigh. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 When passing by them, they would wink at one another 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say: "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!" 32 Yet they were not sent to be their guardians. 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 Regarding them from their cushioned seats. 35 Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
