Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is rent asunder 1 And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful, 2 And when the earth is spread out 3 and casts out what is within it and is emptied, 4 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality). 5 O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. 6 Then, he who is given his Book in his right hand 7 Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, 8 and will return rejoicing to his family. 9 But he who is given his Book from behind his back 10 he will pray for utter destruction 11 They will suffer the heat of hell fire. 12 Verily he was among his people joyous. 13 thinking he would never revert (to Us). 14 Yea! his Lord had ever been beholding him. 15 I swear by the afterglow of sunset, 16 And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; 17 And by the moon when she is at the full, 18 Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage. 19 Then what ails them, that they believe not, 20 And when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate? (Command of Prostration # 13) ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 and Allah knows very well what they gather. 23 So announce to them a Penalty Grievous, 24 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. 25

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
