The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
