The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 by the Promised Day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 They sat by it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
