The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 They sat by it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
