The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
