The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it, 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
