17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
