Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 it is not a jest. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and so am I: 16 Therefore give them some respite – give them some time. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
