Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 - The piercing Star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 and so am I: 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
