The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
