The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
