The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
