The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
