Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
