The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
