Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
