The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
