The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
