The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
