The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
