Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
