Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
