The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
