The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
