The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
