The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
