Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
