The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
