Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
