The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
