Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 (Some) faces on that day shall be downcast, 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 they shall burn in a Scorching Fire; 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 no food for them except thorny plants 6 which neither sustains, nor satisfy hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 well pleased with their striving, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 wherein they shall hear no vain talk. 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Therein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high, 13 and goblets set at hand, 14 cushions ranged, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 how the heavens are raised up high, 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 And at the Earth, how it is spread out? 20 Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 As for those who turn their back and disbelieve, 23 Him Allah shall torment with the greatest torment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
