Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Have you heard about the Overwhelming Event? 1 On that day (many) faces will be downcast, 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Within it are couches raised high 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 And arranged carpets. 15 And linen spread out. 16 Will they not regard the camels, how they are created? 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 And the earth, how it is spread? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 Except whoever turns away and disbelieves - 23 him will God cause to suffer the greatest suffering [in the life to come]: 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
