The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sun and his early morning splendour, 1 by the moon, which follows it, 2 by the day, when it displays it, 3 by the night, when it envelops it! 4 By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure; 5 and the earth and all its expanse! 6 and by the soul and by Him Who perfectly proportioned it, 7 Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it; 8 Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). 9 and failed has he who seduces it. 10 Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, 11 When the basest of them broke forth 12 then the Messenger of God said to them, 'The She-camel of God; let her drink!' 13 But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them]. 14 And He does not fear the consequence thereof. 15
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
