The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the night when it covers 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 Your striving is most surely (directed to) various (ends). 4 So for one who gave and practised piety 5 And accepts the best, 6 Unto him therefore We shall indeed make easy the path to ease. 7 But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent, 8 And rejects goodness, 9 We shall facilitate the path to affliction 10 When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former. 13 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely (Hell); 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 who belied and turned away, 16 But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- 17 Who gives his wealth in order to be pure. 18 And who hath no favour from anyone to recompense. 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 And he is going to be satisfied. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
