Then when the sent ones entered unto the household of Lut. 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They said: Nay, we have come to you with that about which they disputed. 63 And we have come to you with the truth, and we are most surely truthful. 64 Therefore go forth with your followers in a part of the night and yourself follow their rear, and let not any one of you turn round, and go forth whither you are commanded. 65 We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning. 66 And there came the people of the city rejoicing 67 He said: verily these are my guests, so disgrace me not. 68 And keep your duty to Allah, and shame me not! 69 They replied: "Did we not forbid you again and again to extend hospitality to all and sundry?" 70 He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." 71 By thy life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement, 72 So the rumbling overtook them (while) entering upon the time of sunrise; 73 We laid it (the city) upside down and rained stones of baked clay upon them. 74 Surely in that are signs for such as mark; 75 surely it is on a way yet remaining; 76 Surely, in that there is a sign for those who believe. 77 And indeed the Dwellers of the Woods were unjust. 78 So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. 79
