The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
