Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
